Our town is a friendly, rural community located 20 minutes from New Hampshire's beautiful seacoast. With about 1,400 household, the population has nearly quadrupled to 4,200 inhabitants from its earliest count of 1,064 in 1767. Brentwood's 16.97 square miles are seated in the Rockingham County's geographical center and it is home to many of the county's support services.

    The Town Clerk/Tax Collector of Brentwood has an opening for a part-time clerk.  Successful candidate must enjoy working with the public and be able to work in a multi-tasked customer service oriented office.  Candidate must have HS diploma or equivalent.  Previous office and computer experience preferable.

    Anticipated start date of November 1st.  Position will be 32 hours per week.  Pay will be commensurate with experience.

    October 31, 2018 is the last day to register to vote prior to the November 6th General Election. After Oct 31st you will need to register to vote at the election.
