    TANG SOO DO CLASSES

    Tang Soo Do is a Korean Martial Art comprised of both hard and soft techniques. It emphasizes whole body physical training. It’s beneficial for self-discipline, self-defense and health.

    Classes are available Monday and Friday at the Brentwood Community Center.

     

    Classes are taught by Retired Law Enforcement office Bob Meegan. He is currently a 4th degree Black Belt with the World Tang Soo Do Association and recently recognized by the association  for his 35 years as an instructor.

     

    6:30-8:00pm  

    Enrollment is continual,

    so you may begin at any point.

    Cost:  $60/single/mo.    $100/family/mo. (2 or more)

     

    Martial Art classes are back!!! Starting this Friday, July 10th classes will take place outside and will return in the community center after August 21st. FILL OUT COVID WAIVER form that is attached below. You won't be able to participate until Covid form is filled out. Please contact Bob Meegan or the Recreation Director with any questions or concerns.

    Join us for some fun and exercise!

     

    Over 30 Coed Softball

     

    The season will run from late June through mid-August.

     

    If you are interested in playing or have a group interested in forming a team, you can register through the Recreation office or register online. Please indicate team name or coach if signing up for a particular team. Individual or team sign-up deadline is Monday, June 1st . Captain's meeting is Wednesday, May 6th, 6:30pm, at the community center or on zoom.

    Cost: $30

     ($3.00 additional fee for online registration)

    Brentwood Recreation is still taking registrations for adult softball and payments for new registrations do not have to be made until the end of the season due to the Covid-19 Virus. The recreation department will reach out to all participants if the season gets pushed back or gets cancelled due to the Covid-19 Virus. If the season gets pushed back or gets cancelled the recreation department will reach out to all participants and will give full refunds. Please email the recreation director with any questions or concerns.
